Ariel also seems to have a new buddy. Her daddy bought her a white tiger at the grocery store Labor Day weekend (that Sunday). When he showed it to her, she wanted it and then did not want to let it go at the check-out counter! Greg gave it to her as we left, and she hugged it tight, and kept holding on to it, even while I buckled her in to her car seat. I couldn't take it from her until she'd fallen into a deep enough sleep! She carries it all over the house. I figure it's only a matter of time before she wants to sleep with it. :o)
We had a nice relaxing Labor Day weekend. Greg has Fridays off, and that Friday we went to a park with a pond and saw lots of ducks, several turtles, and some squirrels. One squirrel came right up to us begging for food, and Ariel (and Mama too!) wanted to pet it! Then we showed Ariel Lake Michigan; she's never seen so much water before, and seemed nervous about it. She wouldn't let Greg put her down. A couple of times a seagull buzzed our heads, and we saw two sailboats out on the lake, and a little boy flying a kite on the beach. To finish out the long weekend, that Monday we went to a nature center with Greg's dad, brother, and nephews, where we saw a de-scented skunk, a red fox, bald eagle, red tail hawk, bees, and two owls.

Wow, what a smart little girl! I think all the reading you have done must have seeped into Ariel while you were pregnant. Maybe she was reading the whole time she was in there! You look SO Cute pregnant! I didn't read the caption at first and thought you were trying to tell us something! You really do look great prego, I keep looking at the picture of you guys at the top of your blog and then your wedding picture. I keep thinking to myself "Jess EAT Something! And you should, no sticks allowed!" Guess you need me to make you LOTS of pasta and bring you pizza and Subway! Love ya
Thanks; I felt like I looked great pregnant! LOL Yum, Subway!!! I haven't had Subway in years! As far as pasta and pizza, we have that at least once a week :oD (Ariel loves pasta too; she used to call it cheese -- sometimes still does -- because the cut up spaghetti noodles look like shredded cheese.) I guess I'll have to eat potato chips with dip every time, and veggies with dip or dressing... Maybe I should eat more meat? Ooh, and chocolate!!! Anything else I should eat to gain weight? ;o)
