Last night I made Broccoli-Carrot Stir-Fry for dinner, along with brown rice. It was good! I used chicken broth, and left out the walnuts. My picky husband ate just the brown rice, with soy sauce... Ariel ate just the brown rice too, even though she saw me eating the veggies. But she also ate peas and corn, so at least she got some veggies in.
The next time I make the stir-fry, I want to add some red bell pepper, chicken, and pineapple. I think maybe it would also be better with cashews instead of walnuts, but of course I won't know until I try it with walnuts first! I've never had walnuts in oriental-type food... It's the first time I've used a wok, and from now on I will make my stir-fries in nothing else!
